Honey is a free website that will help you save money on your online purchases by finding you discount codes and earning points for gift cards.

Ebates & Honey are similar but work a little differently. You can read my Ebates review here: https://esoterictartan.com/category/ebates/

These are online purchases that I am already making so this just makes it even better to earn rewards for doing what I am already doing!

You can choose to install a little button on your browser and then Honey searches the web and goes through all discount codes available for websites to find the best discounts automatically. You can see below the button links for Honey and Ebates.

It is super easy to have these on your screen because you do not have to go to their website every time. The discounts come up automatically or you can click on the button you have installed on your browser.

Even if a discount code is not available, you can still earn rewards called Honey Gold to purchase gift cards (you earn these pretty easily too!).

Once you receive at least 1,000 points, you can redeem the points for gift cards.

They have gift cards available from Target , Walmart, Sephora, Amazon, etc. I have previously redeemed one for Target which was sent via email and arrived fairly quick.

Honey offers something that Ebates does not and that is the “Droplist” – it is a price drop watch list. It keeps items you have chose to watch and lets you knows the price difference from when you saved it. This screenshot is from my Honey website.

As you can see below from the Amazon screenshot, I have highlighted the “h” where Honey will let you know if there has been a price change or if this is the best deal this particular product has had.

When you click on the “Price Change” or “Best Deal” – it will show you “Is this the best time to buy? Currently, this is the best deal of all Amazon sellers. However, Honey has detected 1 price change in the last 30 days. View Price History.”

When you choose to “View Price History,” it shows you what prices have been and when the price changed. I like this bar graph because you can see the extreme price difference and if you are getting the best deal.

Unfortunately, Honey & Ebates do not work together but it is good to have both! Since deals through both sites are always changing, you can choose to run through the discounts, cash back, & rewards options through both websites and choose which one will work best for you on any particular site.

There are times that Ebates/Honey doesn’t support a specific retailer that the other one does or sometimes Ebates/Honey is running a special deal for a particular site so I definitely utilize both.

If you would like to try Honey or Ebates (they are both absolutely free!), please use my links below. I have received checks and gift cards from both places so they are definitely legitimate!
