I love trying out things that are good for the planet. I was really excited when I found the company MightyFix. They are a monthly subscription box that helps you to start changing items in your home into more sustainable items.

“Our passion at MightyNest is making healthy green living simple and sustainable for you and your family.”

The cost of the box is $10 but I had a code that I received the whole thing for $3 to start the first box.

The particular item I received did not need to be bundled or wrapped so this is how the box came.

I’ve heard that most people receive the 3-pack Wool Dryer Balls for their first Fix and that is what I received as well. These retail for $15.29 so you’re definitely getting your value out of this box.

As you can see, my cat loves them as well. This is a reality when trying to take pictures for this blog.

She really, really likes them.

There is a card that comes with this package that tells you the impact you are making by making this “Fix.”

The box came with a card to tell you how the specific item works and how to “Get the most out of your Fix.”

I’m really impressed that this company is not just sending you random products. They are actually sending you something with a message on how you can make a simple “Fix” in your home product by product.

The website gives great information on when your next item ships and if you want to change your ship date.

Another really neat thing is, if there is a product you are wanting to try, you can choose it for your box as your next “Fix.”

If it is above or below $10.00, it tells you the cost difference.

If this is something you would like to try, use code INVITE7 to receive $7 off your first “Fix.” Https://mightynest.com

So I decided to try a subscription clothing box for the first time. I honestly did not think I would like this experience and thought everything would be way overpriced. I was so wrong!

Normally there is a $10 styling fee which I received free with a code. Once I filled out the style profile, I was sent six items. I said I wanted soft and comfortable clothing and I was not disappointed!

This dress was super cute and had pockets!!! We ended up not keeping this one since we have a similar one in olive green. ITEM: Sage Fever Dress @ $31.49 in XL

I fell in love with this cranberry red dress which also had pockets. It is soft didn’t show off too much which I appreciate. Kept this one! ITEM: Estella Dress @ $35.99 in 2X

Next up, the softest & comfiest pants! They were perfect with people and cuffs around the ankles. Kept these as well! ITEM: Soft Jogger Bottom @ $22.49 in 2X

Next up, jewelry… I am not a big fan of jewelry but I was pleasantly surprised. the necklace was super cute but I ended up not keeping it just because it wouldn’t get much use. ITEM: Niemela Necklace @ $21.99

The earrings are super cute and subtle. They are gold and a marble look (black/navy blue). I ended up keeping these. ITEM: Ashley Earring @ $9.99

The last is a set of black leg warmers. I did not keep these because that is not something I would wear and honestly, I don’t know if they would have fit over my calves. They are cute but just not my style. ITEM: Arabella Other @ $15.99

Here is a breakdown of the items that I was sent. You include this in the bag when you are returning anything you don’t want to keep so you won’t get charged for them.

Anything anything you don’t keep goes back in the pink bag with the label that they provide so you do not have to pay for return shipping.

I highly recommend checking out Nadine West.

They even give you the ability to see the items that they are shipping before you receive them in the amount that they will cost. You can give feedback on the items so they will know for future what you liked or disliked about each item.

You can choose how far apart you want your shipments and even if you want to skip a month. This is a subscription service so it will automatically come to you unless you let the company know otherwise. I am so pleased with Nadine West and can’t wait for our next bag!

If you sign up, they do provide a referral code and you get a free pair of earrings for each person who uses your code.

I love the company Brandless! Everything is $3.00 (with a few items just added that max out at $9.00).  The great thing about Brandless is you don’t have to have a subscription although they do offer that service.  I have ordered several times from them and have always been so pleased!  Their customer service is awesome and responsive!

Everything is packed really well with an itemized list.

If there are any glass items (mugs, bowls, etc.), they are wrapped up well so they don’t break. I did receive a broken bowl one time and the company gave me an immediate credit with extra money refunded for a future shipment.

All liquid items are wrapped separately in a plastic bag to avoid leakage.

Brandless offers a lot of varieties of food that are non-GMO, gluten-free, and organic.

Some new items just added are baby products and pet items.

They have an array of products including stationary, food, kitchen items, beauty & personal care items, etc. My absolute favorite product so far is their dish soap. It suds up well and is gentle on the skin!

The 1st one…

ECastle#2Hello and thank you for joining me at The Esoteric Tartan! I’m excited to have a place to share my thoughts, pictures, and a myriad of things I enjoy. I will post scenery & animal pictures, my subscription box reviews, maybe some word of the day items, and anything Scotland or Ireland related. Enjoy… ♥️, Susan
