Blog Learning: Creating my Legal Disclosure

This is not the most fun blog post but… I will try to make this short and sweet.

Even a cat would be bored reading legal disclosures!

When I started my blog, I didn’t realize that the government requires a Legal Disclosure for all Affiliate Links. I didn’t even know what an Affiliate Link was!

Per Wikipedia, an “Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts. “

What does that mean?! Basically, if you have a link in a blog post where you could earn a free item, a discount, money, etc., you need a disclosure.

Legal disclosures and documents are rarely fun to read but I have provided mine below for you if you would like to read it or use the same format.

The Legal Disclosure: All product reviews are my own & products have been purchased by myself unless otherwise noted. The reviews will always be honest, full of respect & trust. Some posts may contain affiliate links which means that if you click on the link & make a purchase, I may be compensated (this is at no cost to you). Not all links are affiliate links but will post this on every linked page to be fully transparent. If you would like to learn about how I do a product review or info about subscription services, please comment below or email me at .

The end
