Kiwi Co is a company that provides different boxed activities for different ages. I am reviewing the Doodle Crate which is for ages 9 to 16.

We also ordered the Tinker Crate but I will review that one separately. You set up a profile for your child or for multiple children and tell them who you’re buying the crates for. I was able to tell them that these were both for one child so they shipped the boxes together. My daughter was super excited because they addressed them to her.

The Doodle Crate is a monthly subscription box that delivers a hands-on creative project in every crate. The regular cost is $19.95 per month.

The boxes are color coded for the each crate and also have project details on the box. Doodle Cates utilize blue.

We received the activity for make your own ‘Faux Leather Portfolio.’

These kits come with absolutely everything you would need and are really well-thought-out.

Instructions are included and my ten-year-old was able to do this without any help.

We forgot to take pictures as she was making this but here is the finished product. She decided to reverse the material and use the blue felt side.

The brads (the little jewel pieces that you see on the cover) were a little sharp and hard to open but that was the only difficulty.

My daughter truly loved this project. I was impressed with this crate and the amount of thought that goes into it.

I am not a crafty person so I really appreciated the fact that she was able to do this as an activity on her own. She liked it that she didn’t need help with it and was able to create it all on her own!

If this is something that you & your child would be interested in, use the link below and we will receive a $10 credit.
